Superyachts 2025: the new stars unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 promises to be one of the most spectacular and eventful editions ever. Over 120 superyachts will arrive in the waters of Port Hercule, nearly 50 of which were launched during the year. Among them, seven stand out for their innovation, design, and character: from Feadshipโ€™s colossal explorer to Giorgio Armaniโ€™s refined minimalism, as well as the latest creations from Benetti, Overmarine, Heesen, NOA Yachts, and ADA Yacht Works. A line-up of debuts that reflects the dynamism and emerging trends of the industry.

M/Y Valor โ€“ Feadship

With its 79.5 metres, Valor is undoubtedly one of the main attractions of the show. Designed by De Voogt Naval Architects with interiors by Bannenberg & Rowell, this explorer yacht combines robustness and luxury. The hull reinforced with an โ€œice beltโ€ allows operations in polar waters, while the diesel-electric hybrid system enables zero-emission navigation for short periods. Its range exceeds 5,000 nautical miles, making it suitable for transoceanic expeditions. Despite its adventurous nature, the yacht offers elegant interiors, a spa, and ample spaces dedicated to relaxation. Valor represents the archetype of the new explorer: advanced technology serving exploration and comfort.

M/Y Project 596 โ€“ The Italian Sea Group

Presented as Admiral Giorgio Armani 72, Project 596 showcases the collaboration between The Italian Sea Group and the Italian designer. Measuring 72 metres, this yacht stands out for its essential lines, large windows, and an aesthetic that reflects Armaniโ€™s philosophy: sober, sophisticated, and timeless. The interiors feature neutral tones and a relaxed atmosphere, with luxury that is never ostentatious yet always recognisable. More than just a vessel, Project 596 presents itself as a โ€œMade in Italyโ€ style manifesto, combining shipbuilding excellence with an auteurโ€™s stylistic vision.

M/Y Solemates โ€“ Heesen Yachts

Delivered in 2025, the new Solemates is a 55-metre yacht from the Steel line by Heesen Yachts. The exterior lines are designed by Omega Architects, while the interiors reflect the contemporary and refined style of the Dutch shipyard. Highlights include the ownerโ€™s suite with a French balcony, a beach club with a sauna, and a range of around 4,500 nautical miles. Solemates combines the reliability of a steel hull with a modern and functional layout, ideal for those seeking long cruises without compromising on onboard wellbeing and entertainment.

M/Y Lady Estey โ€“ Benetti

Among the most anticipated Italian premieres is Lady Estey, the second unit in Benettiโ€™s B.Now 67M series. Launched in summer 2025, it stands out for its revolutionary Oasis Deckยฎ, an aft terrace that enhances contact with the sea thanks to fold-out side platforms and an integrated pool. Measuring 67 metres, Lady Estey embodies Benettiโ€™s vision: combining tradition and innovation with a design that transforms life on board into an immersive experience. Its debut in Monaco will be a true world premiere.

M/Y Mangusta Oceano 50 โ€“ Overmarine

The Mangusta Oceano 50 represents the evolution of Overmarineโ€™s displacement line. At almost 50 metres in length, with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, it offers a range of around 4,500 nautical miles. Among its most appreciated features are a modular beach club, a pool with a counter-current system, and large glass surfaces that ensure natural light in every space. It is the perfect synthesis of Mangustaโ€™s philosophy: elegant Italian design, cutting-edge technology, and a strong focus on comfort during long voyages.

M/Y NOA 48 โ€“ NOA Yachts

Among the most interesting new entries is the NOA 48, measuring 48 metres with exterior design by Hot Lab. It is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, supported by a crew of nine. Technical features include a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots, and a range of 4,500 nautical miles. The sun deck features a DJ cabin, a bar, and a gym area, while the interiors โ€“ designed by ADM Design Studio โ€“ focus on conviviality, with main and upper salons opening outwards. โ€œZero speedโ€ stabilisers and an SCR system for emissions reduction complete a project aimed at combining sustainability, style, and entertainment.

M/Y Legasea โ€“ ADA Yacht Works

Built in Turkey by ADA Yacht Works and launched in 2025, Legasea measures 50 metres and is designed as the ideal charter yacht. With interiors by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, it accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a master suite and four VIP cabins. The exterior design, by Uldas Yacht Design, features a pool on the main deck and a spacious beach club. With around 497 GT of internal volume, Legasea focuses on comfort and liveability, qualities that make it particularly appealing for the private cruising market in the Mediterranean.

2025 Trends

From the analysis of these seven new models, several key trends emerge. The first is the pursuit of sustainability, evident in Valorโ€™s hybrid systems and the SCR solutions on NOA 48. The second is the enhancement of outdoor spaces, with beach clubs, fold-out terraces, and multifunctional decks that strengthen the connection with the sea. The third trend is stylistic customisation, ranging from the Armani elegance of Project 596 to the contemporary design of Hot Lab. Finally, there is growing attention to the charter market, with yachts like Legasea ready to enter service immediately.

The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 is not just a showcase of luxury: it is a reflection of a constantly evolving industry, where technology, design, and sustainability intertwine to define the new frontiers of high-end yachting.
